Through the lenses of psychology and social work, my approach revolves around adopting a "person in the environment" perspective. Together, we embark on a journey to uncover your inherent strengths and areas that pose challenges. We delve into exploring your coping mechanisms and resilience in the face of life's trials—be it the loss of a loved one or pet, job instability, health concerns, financial burdens, or relationship complexities.
With nearly a decade of experience as a Christian counselor, our sessions may also center on fortifying and nurturing a robust, enduring faith. We can explore aspects of your spirituality, working together to bridge any gaps you perceive in your spiritual journey or reinforcing elements that you feel are missing in your life."My goal is to support people so they can become their best, richest, most fulfilled selves."
Drawing from a spectrum of theoretical orientations including CBT, MBCT, and ACT, I specialize in employing a faith-based methodology to address a wide range of mental health conditions, relationship struggles, adjustment issues, trauma, emotional distress, abuse, and addiction.
With two decades in Public Child-Welfare and prior experience in Adolescent Substance Abuse Treatment for five years, my practice reflects a unique fusion of interventions and expertise tailored to navigate life's most intricate challenges.
My professional journey demanded a Trauma-informed approach long before its widespread adoption. Beyond the conventional trauma narrative framework, I've ventured into emotional healing of soul wounds, freedom through prayer, as well as post-traumatic growth, as a powerful pathway to not just healing but thriving.

Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and a proud graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, where I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating a variety of other modalities to best meet each client’s individual needs.
I specialize in working with individuals and families struggling with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and a range of other mental health and relationship challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent 15 years as a registered nurse, providing compassionate and empathetic care to those in need. That experience deeply shaped my belief in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and continues to guide my work as a therapist.
I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey of healing and self-discovery, helping you build the tools and confidence to create the life you deserve.

Testimonials
When I first started seeing Chrissy, I was having anxiety daily. I didn't know how to cope with it and didn't know where to turn. I wanted to learn how to cope with anxiety and not let it ruin my life. Chrissy taught me so many things. I went from feeling afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone to being a college student at 42. I'm 8 classes away from getting my degree, and I'm no longer having daily anxiety like I did before therapy. I'm very thankful for everything she has done for me!
CC
Working with Christine has empowered me. Before I started this self-exploration, I lived in fear of failure. Thanks to her coaching and support, my entire life has improved. She is the best therapist I've ever worked with. I highly recommend her.

Christine was a beacon of wisdom guiding me to Biblical truth during the most difficult season of my life. She gave me resources and used the best practices to expedite my healing process. She empowered me and encouraged me to find peace and confidence through Jesus Christ my Lord and I am forever grateful!

I counseled with Chrissy for about 5 years. Healing, growing in my self confidence, and finding my authentic self were our main focuses. She walked with me and guided me to a place of hope and strength within Christ and myself.

I came to Chrissy with my life in disarray. I had no idea what I needed to do next. Chrissy helped me walk down a road of recovery while allowing me to see things in my life that needed fixed. From my darkest days to my brightest hope, I am thankful for treatment she provided and the atmosphere she provided it in.
